      Hello :>

Yep, the bf just went home, I miss him :< hehe. It's been a wonderful weekend, so looking forward to his return.

It's quiet here because well, I don't comment much here, I mostly stalk. It's always nice to have some communication though :)

How have you been yourself? I have to say I like the new landscape art :D

Aww, well then fingers crossed that you get to see him again, soon! =)

And I see.... a stalker you are, hehe :D Need we watch out now? :D

I have been pretty good. Fairly busy, but not too stressed, and I'm enjoying Berlin and the good weather, and really sketching a lot lately, hehe. If only markers and the likes weren't that expensive :D

He'll be arriving in 2 more weeks, then drag me over to his place. Probably for bowling, six flags fun. All that nice summer stuff ~ :D

Lucky you, hangin in a nice area with nice weather. The weather here fluctuates too much for my liking :|

I have prismas, not as expensive as frickin copic, but they can be so stiff :/...and they smell so bad

Well that sounds pretty good then, haha =) How far do you two live from each other?

Well the weather here fluctuates a little as well, but hey, all in a reasonable measure. On thursday it started to rain while we were out in the park making barbecue, and on the two next days it also poured down like crazy when we were walking around the city, haha. Was amazing in a way, some really strong rain. But then we had our fair share of sun again :D

Well the copics you can refill though, so it makes them a bit less expensive, I think. I have and use both, really. I prefer the ink of the prismas, but the brush tip of the copics. You are right though, haha. Yesterday I opened up the new pack of warm grey prismas that I got, and girl did they smell :D
Do you actually marker in colour, too?

I live in NY, he lives in the armpit of NJ, SO we are conveniently close to each other by state :) By train ride, it would take him 3 hours but as he says, it is worth the trip <3

I love rain to be honest, it is very relaxing :) Hot weather does not work well for me. It makes me irritable and I hate sweating :| So far it's been warm but not summer hot.

Would be nice if prismas had refills and that lovely pen tip D: Their colors are really amazing. I have used colors before for a whole image but the smell really got to me, giving me a headache lol. If I had learned to color faster and take a break then I would have no problem. I haven't used them in awhile but I'd like to practice again :D

Ah I see =) And haha, I'm sure he's right! I'm sure you two see each other for a bit longer every time, so prolly is not too far, yeah =)

Rain is nice when I'm inside :D With a hot drink in my hand, haha. But when I'm at the subway station and need to get to the café which is 100 meter away, then rain is mostly terribly wet, haha. And of course, because it was wonderfully sunny when I left the house, I wasn't exactly well prepared.... :D
Have to say though, after the sprint the coffee tasted even better, and I sketched some okay things in the following hours, haha :D
I see what you mean though. Sweatening isn't nice. But if it isn't all that humid, then it's nice to enjoy the sun and walk through Berlin =)

Yeah I agree. And if maybe they were designed in a way that makes it easier to see which exact shade they actually are. Plus the new copic sketch which I bought are a little flatter, so the don't roll off the table, which is nice, hehe. The prismas I actually had to have a friend send me from the states. I never see them anywhere here.
I never worked in colour with markers, it's simply too expensive then. Suddenly you need all shades from a whole lot of colours :D So I just stick to greyscale. I use them mostly just to flesh out ideas anyhow, hehe. Markers certainly are a medium that forces you to be fast, haha.
But yeah, definitely, use them again! I want to see Marissa marker sketches! :D

LOL, I just had that funny memory where my bf got caught in the rain, he was all soak and wet...it was hilarious hehe XD

But yeah, we've been together for 7 years +. We;re not in a rush for anything big like moving in or marriage. He's got school to finish, I got art to work on...things will come together when we are prepared :) When I am down, I just think about us and how fortunate I am. I can't really ask for anything better.

Ah sorry II ramble  lol, not really trying to rub this in anyone's face :/ But yeah..marker sketches...I feel like doing some now :D if they don't roll away from me. Stupid cylinder design lol

Haha no worries, everyone should be allowed a bit of rambling now and then :D And I can understand that you're quite happy, after all :D

And hey now, I just managed to draw with my markers on the train, while going back to leipzig, hehe. and even there it was not too bad :D Ah believe in you! *nods*
I will prolly draw less for the few days that I am here with my family... I don't know why really, haha. Guess I am less focused here. But I finally get to play piano again, weee :D

Hey there :D I just realized you're from DA, lol I'm such a tard.

Well, studying as usual. Learning to use my acrylics better. I think I'm quite content but I could be better.

How's it going yourself Dan? :)

        Haha, no worries :D

Acrylics sound cool :D How long have you been painting with them? A friend of mine actually wants to get me into watercolours, so that might be what I will start to learn soon, haha. Dan goes traditional!

I am doing pretty well. Trying to finish up a commission tonight and tomorrow I'll be going sketching in berlin, I'm looking forward to that, hehe. I just hope the weather plays along!

Been using them on and off, so I can't say exactly.  They are very fun though! They can act like watercolors and oils :)

Ah, sketching outdoors? Sounds nice. I hope swine flu did not hit you guys :( It's really bad here now.

Well and that you have fun with them is what counts :D It's always fun to try new media and tools though. A few weeks ago I bought these cool pens which have sort of a small and firm brush tip, they are so cool >.> I use them all the time now, haha.

Yeah, and so far the weather looks good, so this should be fun. Plus I'll get to see more of Berlin that way :D It's a fairly big city after all, so it'll take me a while to see most of it, haha :D
I thiiink we had our first case of swine flu here as well. But I don't think that will stop me from leaving the house. :D We'll see though, how that develops. >.>
